## Technical notes

- All tests measure browser-observed event timing, not absolute hardware latency
- Results reflect delays through the full stack: hardware → USB → OS → browser
- Browser typically throttles pointer events to 60–120 Hz regardless of mouse polling rate
- Use tools for relative comparison and issue detection, not to verify manufacturer specifications
- Privacy: no test data leaves the device. Google Analytics (anonymised) and Google AdSense are used
